Meet our Camp Arevelk Staff
We are looking forward to another great year at Camp Arevelk. We have the greatest number of staff members we have ever had to take care of the record number of campers (ages 10-16) for our 14th year of Camp. Sylvia Jizmejian has been the Camp Arevelk Director since 2000 when Camp began and she will be back this year.
Our nurse, Arpi Sarian is a veteran of several Camp Arevelks and countless late night teas to comfort
Sylvia Jizmejian has been involved with Camp Arevelk since before we had a name for it. She is the only Camp Director our camp has known and she looks forward to this week every year.
Sylvia has a Masters in Christian Education from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary and has been involved in youth ministries for almost twenty years.
Arts and Crafts Coordinator

Tha activities coordinator is responsible for the team games in the afternoon and the night games which are at night.
Our coordinator this year is Andrea Grigsby who is the Christian Education Director at our own APC of Paramus.
Hello Arevelk Djambar(camp),
My name is ARPI there is no E at the end.
Medications should be brought in their original perscribed bottles not in a pill organizer type box. I need to be able to read the directions as well. I would prefer that we know all their allergies to medication food etc.
I will need parents to consent to give Tylenol or Motrin for minor discomforts.
I will have herbal tea and honey and lots of sympathy for the campers and the counselors alike.
Arpi without E
